Frequently Asked Questions
A. Dresses are NOT kept in stock. Please plan on a minimum of 4-6 weeks for the "budget" styles and 10-14 weeks for designer gowns. These time frames can be extended during peak seasons or in the event that a popular style is on backorder. Rush processing and delivery is available for an additional fee of $20.00 per item. We STRONGLY encourage customers to purchase this service if their wear / need date is close to the minimum time required for processing. Example: if a Tip Top gown is generally available in 4-6 weeks, and your wear date is in 4 (or 5) weeks--PURCHASE RUSH PROCESSING. Q. Can I return my purchase if I do not like it? A. In most cases, yes, we do accept returns. However, some items are not eligible for returns and we do have strict procedures that must be followed in order to complete a return. Please visit the Returns / Exchanges page for detailed information. Q. What is a "wear date"? A. A "wear date" is the date that the item is to be worn. We use this date to determine if we can get your item to you on time in the event of a backorder or other delay. Q. When do you charge my credit card? A. Your credit card is "authorized" at the time you make a purchase online, but no money will change hands until we actually process the order. Q. I've received an emailed copy of my order. Does this mean that everything went through OK? A. The email you receive after placing your order is an automatically generated message to let you know that an order has been successfully placed into our system. The order is not considered to be "active" until we are able to look at the order and feel that we can successfully deliver the items on or before the wear date/need date.
