Returns, Exchanges and Company Disclaimer Shopping on the internet can be a scary thing. To ease your concerns, we do accept returns and exchanges. However, we do have a few policies.....
Customers who are able to shop in our retail store have the
opportunity to "see and try" a dress before making a purchase. Due to the
nature of weddings and other formal events, we do not allow returns or
exchanges on purchases made in our retail store. However, our internet customers do not
have this same opportunity to "see and try" before making a purchase. For
our internet customers only, we are willing to accept returns and exchanges
under the following conditions. Please take the time to read and
understand these policies, as failure to be informed of this information is
not a reason to dispute a return or exchange. We may find the need to
review/revise this policy at any time. Any and all changes will be posted
here. Let's try to make this simple. Most items can be returned or exchanged for any reason - or no reason at all under the following 2 conditions: 1. Items MUST be postmarked within 10 days from the day the package left the store. 2. Each returned order must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the box. Packages postmarked after the 10 day time frame OR without a return authorization number will be automatically refused. No exceptions. The following policies apply to all returns and exchanges that meet the 2 conditions listed above:
RETURNING UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS If the item is NOT in good condition upon its return (odors, tags missing, obvious signs of wear, etc.), the customer will be notified that that the return is not acceptable. These situations will be handled on a case-by case basis--the customer may or may not get a refund. DISCLAIMER At Water Lily Kids, we make every effort to provide excellent service to our customers. However, we cannot be held responsible for inaccurate information that is provided to us by the customer, the actions of the mail carrier or shipper, or the ability of the customer to receive and read important email messages from us. If there is a problem with any order that comes about as a result of an action by a third party that is completely out of our control, we will not be held responsible. In addition, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Items are generally available within the time frames stated on each product page. However, due to seasonal overloads and the possibility of backorders, delivery times may be extended beyond the normal time frame. For this reason, we STRONGLY encourage you to purchase rush services if your wear date / need date is close to the minimum time frame allowed for delivery. Example: if a Tip Top gown is generally available in 4-6 weeks, and your wear date is in 4 (or 5) weeks--PURCHASE RUSH PROCESSING. Do not judge the color of a gown when looking on a computer. Computer monitors vary and may not display colors correctly. Ivory comes in many shades ranging from very light (almost white) to very dark (creamy-yellow). Please keep this in mind when ordering. Several dresses in a color other than white must be cut from the same bolt of fabric to ensure a color match, making them "special order" items. These items must be ordered on 1 ticket so that we can request the color match from the manufacturer. These "special order" items cannot be returned or exchanged. QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS?
